With over 70 years of building history in Connecticut we have been involved in just about every aspect of the construction and real estate industry. From building starter homes and small apartments to large retail and industrial buildings. We’ve built roads and neighborhoods, renovated residential and commercial buildings. We have also bought, sold and subdivided land, and owned, leased, managed and maintained commercial real estate.

The name of our company, Uccello Fine Homes, reflected our broad reaching capabilities, and was descriptive of our services through much of our history.

Over the last 15 years however, we have narrowed our focus, and honed our craft. We have almost exclusively been building and renovating some of the finest homes in Central Connecticut and along the Connecticut Shoreline.

Over the last two years as we contemplated our rebranding and the future of our family business, I strongly considered removing “Uccello” from the name, thinking that there may be a greater opportunity for a longer legacy with a more generic name. While there were many pros to going down that path, some of the most trusted people in my life advised against it.

As of late, the phrase “Uccello Home”, has been said by friends, family clients and colleagues. In the context of: “oh, that’s obviously a “Uccello Home”, or “we are so looking forward to living in our “Uccello Home”.

Sometimes when you are too close to something you can’t see it for what it is, and while we were so focused on what our brand should be, the Uccello name has become a brand all by itself.

We have decided on “Uccello Fine Homes” it’s who we are and what we are best at.
